The Job Offer
As part of the strategy defined by the company and under the responsibility of the Sales Manager, your mission will be to develop greenhouse projects sales in Central Europe Countries such as Romania, Bulgaria, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Hungary to existing growers and new investors. You will be also working with our distributors / agents network.
The greenhouse projects sales consists in supplying the greenhouse and its equipment (irrigation, heating, climate control computer and other equipment). Each project is different and is defined together with the customer.
The position gives a motivating unique responsibility as you are in charge of projects from beginning to end. It consists of: prospect, appreciate the real feasibility of the project, define the needs of the customer, navigate through the various parties involved in the decision, gather the adequate information, work with Richel Group or Richel Group’s supplier engineers when necessary, prepare the technical and commercial proposal, present the offer to the customer, close the sale, negotiate the financial and contractual part of the project, follow the installation of the project through subcontractors, be the interface for after sales services.
To accomplish this mission and as each project is specific, you will present the following qualities in order to prepare the best offer and close the deal:
Open minded: this quality is needed to work with a heteroclite clientele of investors, growers, technicians and business leaders;
Autonomy: is one of the most important qualities requested. You should be able to work alone, manage your time and priorities according to your different various activities. To help you reaching these goals, the company will support you at every step of the projects but you are the leader of your projects.
Sales skills: you know how to use your discernment to select the projects that are a priority and to keep focused. You know how to identify and feel the customer needs and the competitors’ strategies. You adapt your approach and your proposal in function. Your natural charisma inspires confidence and trust. You demonstrate a firm capacity for closing sales.
Technical skills: technical skills and curiosity are a key of the success in order to elaborate the best offer to answer customer’s needs. Many options are available in terms of greenhouse structures, ventilation, irrigations systems, water treatment, hot air or warm water heating, shading screens etc. You like to understand and compare technical advantages of each system. You gather information from the customer and from his environment. You consult your sales manager and our engineers and suppliers of equipment. You confront ideas. You think return of investment and business plan for the customer.
You have a higher education degree such as engineer or business school diploma.
Minimum 5-8 years of experience in sales of technical projects and/or in project management.
You speak fluent French and English. Local language will be a plus.
You will reside necessarily within the Area.
Your travel time (client visit, exhibitions…) will represent approximately 60% of your working time.
