The solution

For this expansion project, JD Agrokapital sought a solution to increase production while stabilizing the cultivation climate and optimizing resources.

In this context, Richel Group provided a turnkey solution with the installation of a 16-meter Richel chapel greenhouse, specifically tailored to JD Agrokapital’s needs.
The 16-meter width allows for optimal use of space for crops while providing sufficient room for equipment and technological solutions to efficiently manage cultivation:

  • Hot air heating: Maintains a stable temperature, especially during colder periods, ensuring consistent growing conditions.
  • Sophisticated irrigation systems: Delivers precise and optimal water supply, minimizing waste.
  • Shading screens: Regulate light intensity, protect crops from excessive heat, and optimize the greenhouse’s thermal performance.
  • Electrical and automation systems: Enable intelligent and efficient management of all processes, ensuring optimal climate control.

The latest in the Richel Chapel range, the 16-meter greenhouse is the largest on the market, offering exceptional climate stability and growing conditions. A key challenge for this project was maintaining a stable cultivation climate, particularly amidst sudden variations in temperature and humidity that could compromise crop quality. With its ventilation and thermal regulation systems, the Richel chapel greenhouse ensures consistent temperature and humidity levels, which are crucial for sensitive crops like TOV tomatoes.

For this project, the brightness of Richel greenhouses stood out as a decisive factor. Their highly gothic shape (27°) allows maximum light penetration, significantly boosting crop productivity.

Thanks to this new infrastructure, the greenhouse successfully met the challenge of maximizing natural light and maintaining a stable cultivation climate, avoiding sudden temperature and humidity fluctuations.

This new 5.2-hectare greenhouse represents a significant milestone for JD Agrokapital, enabling sustainable and high-quality agricultural production. It meets market demands while optimizing resource use. With its innovative design and advanced technologies, the greenhouse has strengthened the company’s ability to produce sustainably and efficiently, ensuring the quality and quantity of harvests year-round.
