Richel Group Showcases Its Expertise at Usines Ouvertes 2026

On Friday, March 20, 2026, Richel Group exceptionally opened its doors for an afternoon by taking part in the Journées Usines Ouvertes (Open Factory Days) at its production site in Eygalières. A world leader in the design, manufacture, and installation of horticultural greenhouses for over 60 years, the group welcomed the general public, students, and professionals during two guided tour sessions.

What exactly are the Journées Usines Ouvertes?

This is a nationwide initiative led by the Société des ingénieurs Arts et Métiers. The concept is simple: open the doors of factories that are usually closed to the public to showcase the reality of industrial professions. In 2025, the first edition attracted over 20,000 visitors across 230 factories.

An immersion at the heart of industrial excellence

Two tour slots were organized: a first group from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM, and a second from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Registration was free of charge.

In practice, visitors were able to discover Richel Group’s industrial facilities, understand the various stages of design and manufacturing, and interact directly with our teams and trade experts. It was also an opportunity to explore the diversity of industrial careers and the career prospects within the group.

Our goal was to highlight our expertise, share our passion for innovation, and inspire vocations, particularly among younger generations.

Richel Group Showcases Its Expertise at Usines Ouvertes 2026Knowledge sharing, openness, and industrial values

Committed to a culture of knowledge sharing and openness, Richel Group fully embraced the mission of the Usines Ouvertes initiative: bringing industry closer to citizens and changing perceptions of this strategic sector.

This day also shone a light on what drives us every day. First, innovation, with our bioclimatic greenhouses and our water and energy management solutions. Then, industrial performance, with expertise exported to over 100 countries. And finally, human commitment, through talent development and the desire to inspire vocations among younger generations.

A member of the French Fab community and CSR-certified by AFNOR, we remain convinced that these moments of engagement with the public are essential for raising awareness of our professions and encouraging people to join the industrial adventure.
